1. Purpose
Sector Foundry publishes independent research on the business economics, bottlenecks,
value chains, competitive structures, and capital dynamics behind critical technologies
and related industries.
Research may take the form of Industry Deep Dives, Company Analysis, Market Explainers,
or Visuals. Articles may also be organized around recurring research topics such as AI
infrastructure, semiconductors, industrial and deep technology, enterprise technology,
and capital and policy.
Content is intended for educational and informational purposes. Sector Foundry does not
provide personalized investment recommendations, trading signals, or instructions to buy,
sell, hold, trade, or avoid any security.
2. Editorial Independence
Editorial topics, research questions, analytical frameworks, conclusions, and publication
timing are determined independently by Sector Foundry.
Views published on Sector Foundry are those of the editor and do not represent the views or
positions of any current or former employer, client, covered company, financial institution,
data provider, or other organization.
Advertisers and other commercial parties do not receive the right to approve, rewrite,
delay, suppress, or otherwise determine independent editorial conclusions.
Sponsored or paid material, if introduced, will be clearly identified and visually
distinguished from independent research.
3. Research Scope and Topic Selection
Sector Foundry focuses primarily on industries in which technology, capital intensity,
capacity, qualification, regulation, supply chains, and competitive structure materially
affect economic outcomes.
Coverage is selective rather than comprehensive. A topic may be covered when it provides
a useful opportunity to explain an industry mechanism, business model, competitive change,
capital cycle, or market transmission mechanism relevant to the publication’s research scope.
4. Source Standards
Sector Foundry prioritizes primary and authoritative sources wherever reasonably available.
Sources may include:
- Annual reports, regulatory filings, and company disclosures
- Earnings releases, investor presentations, and management commentary
- Government and regulatory publications
- Official economic and industry statistics
- Academic and institutional research
- Industry publications and reputable data providers
- Legally accessible third-party research and public commentary
Material numerical claims and factual statements are attributed where practical.
Different sources may use different definitions, methodologies, currencies, geographic
boundaries, fiscal periods, or forecast horizons. Sector Foundry seeks to identify and
account for these differences when information is compared or synthesized.
5. Facts, Estimates, and Interpretation
Sector Foundry seeks to distinguish among reported facts, management guidance, external
forecasts, scenario assumptions, calculations, and editorial interpretation.
Forecasts and scenarios are inherently uncertain and are used as analytical tools rather
than guarantees of future outcomes.
Where evidence is incomplete, contradictory, or subject to material uncertainty, the
analysis should reflect that uncertainty rather than present a false degree of precision.
6. Research Cut-Off and Timeliness
Analytical articles may specify a research cut-off or an “as of” date indicating when the
underlying information was last reviewed.
For current-state claims, Sector Foundry seeks to use the latest reliable information
reasonably available at the time of research. New earnings releases, regulatory decisions,
market data, economic statistics, policy changes, or industry developments may cause an
earlier article to become outdated.
Publication of an article does not create an obligation to continuously update it.
Material updates may be made when new evidence changes the original interpretation.
7. Balanced Analysis
Research is intended to examine both supportive and adverse evidence.
Depending on the subject, articles may address structural growth drivers, competitive
advantages, supply constraints, execution risks, capital requirements, regulatory
uncertainty, financial sensitivities, and developments that could invalidate the original
analysis.
8. Use of AI-Assisted Tools
AI-assisted tools may be used to support parts of the research and publishing process,
including organizing research materials, comparing documents, identifying inconsistencies,
developing alternative structures, improving language, and creating or refining visual
concepts.
AI-generated output is not treated as an authoritative source. AI tools do not independently
determine Sector Foundry’s research thesis, source hierarchy, factual conclusions, or final
editorial judgment.
Material facts, calculations, source selection, interpretations, and final publication are
subject to editorial review. The editor remains responsible for the published content.
9. Copyright and Originality
Sector Foundry publishes original analysis, synthesis, frameworks, and visual research.
The site does not intentionally publish unauthorized copies, direct translations, lightly
rewritten reproductions, proprietary report downloads, or copyrighted charts and tables
without appropriate permission.
Short quotations may be used where appropriate for commentary, criticism, analysis, or
explanation and will be attributed to the relevant source.
10. Conflicts and Disclosures
The editor may have professional experience, business relationships, or personal financial
interests relevant to industries or companies discussed on the site.
Where a relationship or interest is material enough that it could reasonably affect a
reader’s interpretation of the analysis, Sector Foundry seeks to disclose the relevant
conflict or connection.
The editor’s professional employment is separate from Sector Foundry. Published analysis
does not represent the views of the editor’s employer, and non-public or confidential
employer information is not used as a source for Sector Foundry research.
11. Advertising and Commercial Relationships
Advertising does not determine editorial coverage or conclusions.
Advertisers do not receive advance approval rights over independent articles and cannot
require Sector Foundry to publish, modify, delay, or remove an editorial conclusion.
Any future sponsored research, sponsored content, or other paid editorial arrangement will
be clearly disclosed.
12. Corrections and Updates
Material factual errors will be corrected when identified.
Minor edits involving grammar, formatting, clarity, broken links, or presentation may be
made without a formal correction notice.
Where an article is materially revised because new evidence changes the original analysis,
the article may indicate that it has been updated.
